Balayage is a freehand colouring technique in which colour (typically a lighter shade) is painted directly onto sections of hair to create a natural, blended, sun-kissed effect with minimal regrowth lines.
It really depends on the type of colour you’re after. Book the AirTouch service if you’re looking for something natural or more balayage-adjacent; colour correction if you’re unhappy with the current state or tone of your hair; or creative colour if you’re looking to make a bold colour change.

Hair health always comes first. Before colouring, we evaluate your hair’s strength and previous history. If lightning is required, it’s done gradually and within safe limits. Some transformations may need multiple sessions to maintain the integrity and health of your hair.
This depends on your hair shade and your hair-washing routine. Balayage and softer tonal changes will last longer than creative colour, as Pravana ChromaSilk VIVIDS are considered semi-permanent and last approximately 4-6 weeks (or up to 30 washes).
Yes. Whatever service we’re providing, the goal is always for your colour to soften rather than grow out patchy. Because we focus so much on the integrity of the hair and custom-blending every formula, your colour is designed to 'age' gracefully.
In most cases, yes. Lighter or vibrant colours usually require pre-lightening so the tone appears clean and true. During your consultation, we’ll explain what’s achievable in one visit and what may take a staged approach.
Colour correction is the process of fixing undesirable hair results from previous hair dye sessions. Unlike a standard colour service, where we are simply applying a new shade, a correction is more like a "hair rescue mission" to restore balance, tone, and health.
Please note that some corrections require a single appointment, while others require multiple visits to protect your hair.
If you want your hair colour to last longer, avoid washing it too often, as frequent washing can strip out the new colour. That said, avoid washing your hair straight away after your colour appointment, and instead, wait 2-3 days before your first shampoo to allow the pigment to settle. This is also true for swimming, as saltwater and chlorine are natural ‘strippers’ of hair colour.
Also, always use specialised products when styling, for example, heat protectant, as high temperatures can literally cook the colour out of your hair, and hydrating hair care products to replenish and restore.
